Duties include: Trunking deliveries from Hemel to customer locations (e.g. Oxford, Southampton, Milton Keynes, etc.) Safe and compliant operation of HGV vehicles in line with DVSA and company standards Completion of daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and defect reporting Correct coupling/uncoupling procedures Adherence to driver hours, WTD and tachograph regulations Ensuring timely and professional delivery service Hours are ad-hoc and based on operational requirements, primarily covering Monday to Friday shifts with occasional weekend work depending on peak demand. Typical shifts start between 17:00 - 20:30 for trunking operations. Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability. This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences. Experience required: Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence. Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
