This is a brilliant opportunity to join my client, a well-established, close-knit Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are currently on the lookout for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the region. You will be based near the large, bustling town of Watford.

Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:
Developing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, primarily new residential developments
Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
Working on a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or a cognate discipline)
Substantial experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, namely for residential development projects
Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
Considerable experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.
Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A Master's Degree (or higher) in a relevant subject
Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this
Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
