Job Title and Schedule
Care Assistant – 42 hours per week, mixture of day and night shifts, including alternative weekends.
Shift Times
* Day shifts: 8am to 8pm
* Night shifts: 8pm to 8am
Bank Care Assistant
* You must have the flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts, and alternative weekends as and when required.
* Experience working in a care home as a care assistant is required for the bank role.
A Day in the Life
* Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
* Personal care – Supporting with a wash, bath or shower, dressing and oral care.
* Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
* Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
* Domestic tasks – Light cleaning tasks.
* Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
* Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 12 months experience (as a care professional).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Experience working within a care home.
