Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester - Hereford
1. Salary: Between £30-40,000 per annum pending experience. Access to first-year loyalty bonus and monthly performance-related bonus scheme.
2. Hours: 40-hour week from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our client, an independent used car dealership situated in the Hereford region, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their Service Department.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to ministry standards. You shall also diagnose and carry out associated service, maintenance, and repair work and provide overall workshop support as and when required.
To be eligible you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hereford and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester either from expertise gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner given you shall occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high-quality work within specified time frames. An MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points are essential to our client at this stage however if you're a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to acquire an MOT licence then please apply as our client is willing to consider this.
