Requirements
Your role
We are recruiting a Service Designer on a permanent basis. You will design services that help users achieve their goals.
Your responsibilities include:
* Researching and mapping current services from multiple perspectives
* Running workshops to explore solutions and formulate ideas
* Designing user journeys and service blueprints
* Building prototypes for testing
* Understanding and communicating user needs
* Ensuring user needs are central to product development
Skills We Are Looking For
* Ability to discuss digital products and the GDS Service Standard clearly
* Understanding policy and technology constraints and digital benefits
* Experience supporting user-centered design teams
* Proficiency in service design techniques like blueprinting and ideation
* Effective presentation and influence skills
* Workshop planning and facilitation skills
* Using metrics and feedback to refine services

This role requires willingness to undergo Security Clearance, including a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
