Mechanical Engineer – Cooling Systems & Pipework
Mechanical Engineer | Cooling Systems | Pipework | Waterloop | Project Delivery | London / South | Hybrid
A rare opportunity to step into a Mechanical Engineer – Cooling Systems & Pipework role within a growing, engineering-led business delivering complex mechanical systems across high-spec, process-driven environments.
This position offers exposure across the full lifecycle, from early-stage specification and design input through to installation, commissioning, and client handover, with a particular focus on cooling systems and water-based pipework solutions.
While there is strong alignment to data centre environments, we are equally interested in individuals from pharmaceutical, food & beverage, semi-conductor, or other clean/process-led sectors.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, project delivery, and client interaction.
This is not purely a design role, and not a traditional project management position. Instead, it is a hybrid technical role, requiring both strong mechanical engineering capability and the ability to support projects through delivery.
You will take ownership of the technical journey, ensuring solutions are practical, commercially viable, and delivered to a high standard.

Experienced across installation, commissioning, or project delivery, not just design You will bring:
A strong grounding in mechanical systems and engineering principles
The ability to engage in technical decision-making and problem solving
Confidence operating in client-facing and cross-functional environments You may have:
Progressed from an engineering role into project or package responsibility
Or be operating within project delivery roles with a strong technical foundation Sector experience could include:
