Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 5–7 Location: Basingstoke Start Date: ASAP Duration: Permanent Salary: £50,000.00 per annum Working Hours: Full-time We are looking for a permanent Band 5–7 Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed client at a specialist autism school based in Basingstoke. This unique co-educational all-through school provides education and care for 128 young people aged 5 to 16 with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition. The school features specialist classrooms and extensive external grounds, offering a supportive and enriching environment for both pupils and staff. Key Responsibilities Assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of language and communication difficulties Develop SLT care plans, based on best practice via a range of direct and/or indirect models of delivery within an educational setting, evaluating the impact the individual, considering the barriers to activity and participation within the educational setting Train education staff to incorporate specialist strategies and intervention. approaches into their practice and participate in monitoring the effectiveness of that training Communicate complex condition related information from assessment to clients, carers, families and members of the multi-disciplinary team Qualifications and Experience HCPC registration (essential) Experience working with children or adults with communication needs Car driver (preferred) Why work with Pulse?
