Your new role
You’ll be advising on a wide range of development and infrastructure projects, including:
1. Real estate and corporate acquisitions/disposals.
2. Property finance and process plant contracts.
3. Procurement strategies and risk management.
You’ll work closely with a collaborative, high-performing team that’s deeply embedded in the UK’s construction landscape – from urban regeneration to national infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
4. Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC, and bespoke construction contracts.
5. Advising employer/developer clients on project delivery and risk mitigation.
6. Supporting major projects from inception topletion.
7. Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
8. Option to work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters if desired.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with significant experience in non-contentious construction law.
10. Demonstrable expertise in standard forms of construction contracts and associated project documentation.
11. Background in either private practice or industry (in-house experience with major industry players is weed).
12. Strongmercial acumen and excellent client relationship skills.
13. Team player with a collaborative approach and a desire to contribute to a high-performing national team.
