Our public sector client are looking for Admin Assistant to join them on a temporary basis.
Location – Glenfield, Leicestershire
Pay rate - £13.91ph
Job Purpose
To provide efficient and responsive administrative support across Adults & Communities localities, delivering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative, secretarial, and reception support.
* Manage emails, correspondence, filing systems, and office records.
* Arrange meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, and organise venues and materials.
* Produce reports, letters, and other documents using Microsoft Office.
* Maintain accurate computer-based and manual records.
* Process invoices, orders, and other financial documentation.
* Support information management, confidentiality, and data security procedures.
* Assist with Health & Safety records, office inventories, and staff inductions.
* Work collaboratively within the team and support managers as required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous administration or office support experience.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience organising workloads and meeting deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Accurate record keeping and attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Flexible, organised, and willing to learn new skills.
Knowledge
* Understanding of customer service and confidentiality.
* Awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
* Knowledge of Adults & Communities services is desirable
