Support Worker Brook Street Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to work with children and young people across the North East. Opportunities are available in: Educational settings, including schools and specialist provisions Children and Adult's residential services You will be supporting adults and young people with: Trauma backgrounds Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Learning Disabilities (LD) Autism Complex needs What We Offer Flexible shifts to suit your availability Weekly pay 24/7 consultant support FREE accredited training's Ongoing professional development Opportunities for permanent placements The Role As a Support Worker, you will: Provide day-to-day care and emotional support Support learning and engagement within educational and residential settings Promote independence and positive behaviour Follow care plans and behaviour strategies Build positive, professional relationships Maintain accurate documentation Safeguard and promote well being at all times Requirements Minimum 6 months UK care experience Experience supporting adults, children and young people Residential or education experience desirable Ability to work flexible shifts (including evenings and weekends) Strong communication skills NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or adults (desirable) Full UK driving licence (desirable) If you are passionate about supporting people and want flexible, rewarding work with full training provided, we would love to hear from you.
