Year 5 Teacher - Paternity Cover

Veritas Education is looking to appoint a committed and confident Year 5 Teacher for a short-term paternity cover role at a welcoming primary school in Lancaster.
The position will run from the beginning of March until the Easter break, making it an ideal opportunity for a strong practitioner seeking a brief but fulfilling teaching assignment.
Role Overview
* Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 5 class
* Follow existing planning and ensure continuity for pupils
* Maintain a positive classroom environment and strong behaviour management
* Work collaboratively with the schools senior leadership and KS2 team
* Ensure effective marking and assessment throughout the cover period
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
* Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain classroom standards
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Availability from early March until Easter
