Teacher of MFL (French with an additional language desirable)
Permanent position | Easter start | September start also considered
Vision for Education are working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established MFL department within a supportive and ambitious school setting.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching French at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to offer an additional language such as German being advantageous. The school is seeking a teacher who is passionate about language learning, sets high expectations, and is committed to ensuring all students make strong progress.
The role will involve delivering engaging and well-planned French lessons across KS3 and KS4, teaching an additional language where appropriate, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour, working collaboratively within a supportive MFL department, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The school offers a successful and well-resourced MFL department with a strong reputation, a positive and supportive leadership team with a clear vision for improvement, a welcoming and inclusive staff culture, access to high-quality professional development and career progression opportunities, and a curriculum that promotes ambition, engagement, and academic success. The school is recognised for its high expectations and excellent student outcomes, with external inspection outcomes highlighting the strength of teaching and learning across the curriculum. Students demonstrate positive attitudes to learning, and staff benefit from working in a well-organised and purposeful environment.
This role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Applications for an Easter start are encouraged, though a September start may be available for the right candidate.
