About the Service Hob Meadow is a supportive residential home for eight adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. In your new role as Support Worker, you will: Build relationships with residents, which are open and two way Support Residents to undertake their daily routines Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary Accurately report and/or record work activities Support with activities of daily living & personal care Assist residents with mealtimes where necessary. As Support Worker, you will ideally have: Experience working within a Care environment (Advantageous but not essential as full induction training will be given) A warm hearted, friendly manner, patience, kindness and good communication, a willingness to help others, requiring patience An open and honest character, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniqueness The ability to be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitors About us We are GSA, we provide affordable homes and services that create a foundation from which people in our communities can thrive.
