A village food led pub that offers seasonal menus and specials from ingredients sourced from local producers are looking to recruit a Commis Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef to work in a small team where you will receive excellent training .
Requirements
A Commis Chef with an NVQ1 qualification who already has basic cooking skills is required to take on this role. Must be committed to working in a high quality, fresh food kitchen. Service is very busy so it is important that you work well under pressure and are willing to work hard in order to assist the team maintain its high standard of service.
The menus consist of fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. As Commis Chef, you get to work in all sections in the kitchen, and report to the senior chefs. The position will allow you to learn more culinary skills, build up stamina to handle high pressure situations, and learn about multiple duties.
