Job Title: FLT Driver
Salary: £14.42 per hour
Hours: A weekly rotational pattern of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday
Your role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an FLT Driver to join our Manufacturing team at our Peterborough site.
This role involves operating industrial forklift trucks to move raw materials and finished products around the site, including loading and unloading vehicles and kilns (if required). You will operate your forklift in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
You will be responsible for completing daily pre-operating checks, recording and reporting faults on a Defect Report, and ensuring timber, pallets, and packaging are available to maximize production and meet quality and customer standards.
You will represent the company professionally when dealing with internal and external stakeholders and treat colleagues with respect to facilitate smooth operations.
As an experienced FLT Driver, you will hold a current counterbalance FLT license or site-specific counterbalance license, demonstrate high health and safety awareness, and have excellent attention to detail. A can-do attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
