About the Role
This full-time role involves teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge students while supporting their progress. You’ll be responsible for planning, marking, and contributing to the wider school community.
This role is ideal for:
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching career
Unqualified Teachers with strong English knowledge and a passion for education
Graduates with English or related degrees eager to enter teaching
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice
Requirements:
A degree in English or a related subject (desirable for unqualified applicants)
Enthusiasm for inspiring students and fostering a love of English
An enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
