Job Description
3. Ensure purchase invoices & credit card purchases are appropriately coded, authorised and processed
4. Manage Aged Creditors and key supplier accounts including supplier statement reconciliations, resolving payment/processing queries in a timely manner
5. Maintain & update supplier accounts
6. Credit card and bank reconciliations
7. Manage Finance email account, responding to queries efficiently to maintain good relationship with suppliers and staff
8. Input payments into the online banking system, and process payment runs in the online banking system to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and on time
9. Assist with month end procedures and year end routines, nominal Ledger postings and reconciliations
10. To carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the post as requested and agreed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
12. Previous experience working within a school
13. Available immediately
14. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Proficiency in financial software and tools and advanced excel skills
16. AAT qualified or working towards.
What's on Offer
17. Hourly pay rate between £13.00 and £16.00.
