About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident Freight Operations Manager to lead our dynamic logistics operation. This leadership position is ideal for someone with a strong background in European Road Freight and hands-on warehousing experience.
You will oversee a team of approximately 30 staff across Road Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs, and Warehouse Operations, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 30+ across multiple logistics functions.
* Oversee end-to-end European Road Freight operations.
* Drive efficiency and performance in warehousing and customs processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
* Maintain compliance with relevant transport, customs, and safety regulations.
* Foster a high-performance culture through clear communication and hands-on leadership.
Requirements
* Proven experience in European Road Freight operations.
* Hands-on experience in warehouse management.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
* Ability to navigate the challenges of a fast-paced logistics environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with customs procedures and/or ocean freight is advantageous.
