About the role
This exciting role is at the heart of our business-facing activity, bringing together expertise to strengthen employer relationships and maximise engagement across the TEC Partnership's full portfolio of services.
As a Business Engagement Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of employer engagement developing new relationships, offering tailored training consultancy, and managing accounts to deliver high-impact solutions. You'll play a key role in connecting businesses with funded and non-funded services, including apprenticeships, workforce development, and bespoke training packages.
About the person
As the successful candidate, you will need to have experience in business development, account management, or consultancy (ideally within education, training, or skills) and have confidence in negotiating, presenting, and developing tailored training proposals for employers. You will be proactive and customer-focused with the ability to respond quickly to opportunities.
As a Business Development Consultant, you will need a good understanding of the training and education landscape, or a willingness to develop this knowledge, with excellent IT skills and experience in utilising CRM systems. It is important to have strong relationship-building and communication skills.
We would welcome candidates with strong sales, customer service or recruitment experience.
