The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a varied and all‑encompassing HR role covering both operational and strategic responsibilities within a busy manufacturing environment:
* Supporting end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes
* Providing employee relations support and advising managers on HR matters
* Maintaining HR compliance, policies and employee records
* Supporting wider HR operations and workforce planning activities
* Assisting with training and development initiatives for managers and staff
* Involvement in continuous improvement and wider business projects
* Supporting the HR Manager with generalist HR duties across the site
Person specification
* Previous experience in a similar all‑rounded HR role
* Ideally experience within SME manufacturing, engineering or production (not essential)
* CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable)
* Confident supporting employee relations and day‑to‑day HR queries
* Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach
* Forward‑thinking and keen to develop within a growing business
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with varied workload
