Job Opportunity: Head Chef
We are recruiting a Head Chef for one of the top restaurants in Lincoln, part of a reputable hotel established in 2008. The hotel has a strong local reputation and maintains high standards. The current Head Chef is departing after six years, presenting a unique opportunity for a dedicated Sous or Head Chef who is passionate about creativity and using fresh ingredients.
We are seeking a candidate with the following attributes:
1. A strong, organized leader with exceptional leadership qualities.
2. A genuine passion for creating seasonal dishes with fresh ingredients.
3. Proven experience in a high-volume, quality hotel kitchen.
4. Experience in a high-quality banqueting hotel environment.
5. Commercially savvy with the ability to meet food G.P. targets.
6. Ability to develop and nurture the kitchen team.
7. Responsibility for seasonal menu production across all areas, including Lounge, Restaurant, weddings, and private events.
8. Ability to develop relationships with suppliers to ensure top-quality produce.
