Aspire People are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a school in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, especially those with higher SEN (Special Educational Needs) requirements. The position starts ASAP and runs until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for Year 1 students.
Support children with a range of SEN, ensuring their needs are met and their progress is closely monitored.
Work with other staff members to implement effective strategies and interventions to support children with high SEN needs.
Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages the emotional and academic growth of all children.
Regularly communicate with parents and carers about the progress of children with SEN.
Track individual pupil progress and tailor teaching approaches to meet specific learning needs.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Year 1, with a focus on supporting students with higher SEN needs.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
Passion for working with young learners and a commitment to inclusive education.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
