Overview
Are you an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse, with a passion for Emergency nursing? We are looking for someone who will bring a positive attitude to the department and can demonstrate a kind and compassionate attitude to support the matrons and senior nurse team to ensure that high quality patient-focused care is delivered.
Hull Emergency Department is based at Hull Royal Infirmary and sees a high volume of patients in a fast-paced environment. The department operates within a large teaching hospital and is the regional trauma unit, with an integrated Paediatric ED and Primary Care area.
Responsibilities
* Undertake the senior nursing role, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care.
* Rotate around all areas of the department, including emergency care, initial assessment, streaming and the resuscitation area.
* Support the matrons and senior nursing team to ensure high quality, patient-focused care.
Qualifications/Experience
* Experience as a nurse with a focus in Emergency Nursing.
* Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, kindness, compassion and energy for patient care.
* Willingness to develop clinical, leadership and managerial skills within a teaching hospital setting.
