We are currently recruiting Unqualified Teachers to work in secondary schools and specialist SEN schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf. This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain hands‑on classroom experience while working flexibly.
Many people who start in this role go on to teacher training or long-term careers in education.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise classes when teaching staff are unavailable. Your role is to keep students engaged, manage behaviour, and ensure learning continues in a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a focused environment
* Supporting students with their learning, including those with SEN
* Taking registers and following safeguarding procedures
* Reporting back to teaching staff after lessons

Requirements
* Confidence leading a classroom
