Key Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily tasks including personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
Assist with medication, appointments, and care planning under supervision.
Promote independence, social inclusion, and choice in daily activities.
Record and report changes in client wellbeing accurately.
Encourage and facilitate engagement in hobbies, learning, or community activities.
Maintain professional standards in safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality.
Essential Requirements
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
Basic literacy and numeracy.
PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme registration.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.
Desirable
SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Previous experience in a care or support role.
