Description
Our local government clients are recruiting a Service Coordinator to assist the management team in delivering services and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Responsibility
Act as Shift Lead for a specified period, as needed for operational purposes. Ensure that activities are delivered following the plan. First point of call for emergent issues, ensuring escalation to Management when required.
Qualification – Essential
GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
Health and Social Care Qualification at level 2 or equivalent
Desirable - Health and Social Care Qualification at level 3 or equivalent
Advanced – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Social Media, and CRM.

Successful candidates will have:
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
Knowledge and understanding of quality standards and company requirements.
Knowledge of person-centred approaches and delivery of care and support in community-based settings.
Specialist equipment health and safety awareness.
Good communication skills.
Understanding of the company's activities and objectives, as well as a good sense of its wider strategic plans, both current and future.
Working to set challenging but achievable targets.
Build relationships with customers to identify key issues and anticipate their requirements.
Acting as a customer champion within the company.
Advanced IT literate.
Display and model positive attitudes to equality and diversity.
Ability to work with other professionals/service users/carers/families and promote partnership working.
Ability to write reports and maintain records.
Understanding of the role of support in a social care setting.
Desirable - Ability to work with people with complex needs.
Desirable - Experience in delivering direct personal care requirements.
Desirable - Previous experience of working in social care in the private, voluntary and charity sector.
Ability to travel for work from various locations.
On occasion, able to work outside traditional hours, at weekends and evenings as required, adopting a flexible working approach in response to business requirements

5 years' reference including current employment
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role
