Are you a certified and experienced telehandler driver available for immediate short:term holiday cover? We require a reliable operator for a busy new build housing site in Beverley starting immediately.
The Role and Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of materials and site efficiency during this crucial cover period.
* Safe operation of the telehandler, including transporting and positioning various materials (e.g., bricks, insulation, roof trusses) around the development.
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles promptly and securely.
* Conducting mandatory daily pre:start safety checks on the machine and immediately reporting any mechanical defects.
* Working closely with the Site Manager and various trade teams.
* Strict adherence to all site Health and Safety guidelines, particularly concerning lifting operations and restricted access areas.
Essential Requirements
* A valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification is mandatory.
* A valid CSCS Card is essential for site access.
* Proven experience operating a telescopic handler on an active residential construction site.
* High level of reliability and punctuality for the specified contract duration.
* Must supply and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Full UK driving licence.
