An established international engineering organisation is recruiting an experienced Senior HR Advisor (Maternity Cover) to join its HR team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a hands-on generalist role supporting managers and employees across two locations during a period of change. Working closely with a senior HR colleague, you’ll provide practical, compliant HR advice while helping to align HR processes and ways of working. Key responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor include: • Providing first-line HR advice on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinaries and grievances • Supporting and maintaining HR policies in line with UK employment law and best practice • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data within the HR system • Producing reports and insights to support HR and business decision-making • Supporting HR projects, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements of the Senior HR Advisor: • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience) • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law • Proven experience managing employee relations cases • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills • Comfortable working with HR systems and data • Willing to travel between sites Additional Requirements ...
