If so North Trafford community services are seeking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to join our vibrant teams. The post holder will provide effective clinical/nursing leadership for the North Trafford CMHT based at Crossgate House, developing and maintaining a high quality of service delivery.
You will offer a Nurse Led clinic to review service users who remain under the care of the CMHT for medication reasons—Clozapine and anti-psychotic depots, and also to provide a discharge pathway for service users who require some monitoring before discharge back to GP. You will provide knowledge and support to the wider team for any urgent situations that arise regarding medications and need for a service user to be seen at clinic.
You will also provide support within the senior management team of the CMHT to ensure oversight and efficient running of the team within best practice. This will include covering days on Duty; chairing various meetings in the Manager’s absence; completing various reports such as Tribunals and Complaints.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to staff in the CMHT, in line with clinical pathways and as outlined within the operational procedure.
* Take a lead clinical role in identified clinical pathways within the service.
* Manage and evaluate caseloads in line with relevant clinical pathway, as outlined within the operational procedure and will include:
o Assessment
o Formulation
o Therapeutic intervention as required
o Signposting
o Close working with all colleagues
* Be responsible for a complex caseload.
Deputise for the Team Manager in his/her absence and take on any delegated management duties as required. To participate in the bronze on call rota this is subject to approval.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* UK professional registration – Qualified RMN.
* Evidence of post-qualifying training.
Experience
* Post registration experience of working in multi-disciplinary mental health community services.
* Experience of delivering supervision.
Leadership
* Evidence of clinical leadership.
* Working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Awareness of importance of staff wellbeing, including their own.

£49,387 to £56,515 a year per annum pro rata.
