The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and organised Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team. You will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our conveyancing solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of property transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and typing legal documents, letters, and contracts related to property transactions
* Managing client files, including checking and maintaining accurate records
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other professionals
* Scheduling appointments, maintaining diaries, and managing correspondence
* Assisting solicitors in preparing for completions and other key stages of conveyancing
* Ensuring compliance with firm procedures and relevant legislation
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably within conveyancing
* Excellent typing, proofreading, and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
