This friendly department has close working relationships with our clinical consultant staff.</p><p>Our laboratory is well-designed and up-to-date, featuring Grifols analysers, blood track, Contronics temperature monitoring system, and Q-Pulse quality management. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the best pathology staff, and you will play an integral part in the development of the Blood Transfusion and Haematology teams.</p><p>You should be self‑motivated, professional, innovative, and flexible, eager to join our hardworking laboratory team.</p><p>If you want to develop your own career, support others, and help us achieve our vision, we would like to hear from you.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Responsible for the quality and training of the team, supervision of daily operations, staff management, and deputising for the Blood Transfusion Manager.</li><li>Supervise all Blood Transfusion sections and manage daily organisation and staffing allocation, ensuring correct maintenance and troubleshooting of analysers.</li><li>Manage the performance of manual, semi‑automated, specialist, and fully automated laboratory investigations within a defined service area accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Day‑to‑day management of stock control and usage; maintain Blood Transfusion stock levels and records, monitor usage for efficient utilisation.</li><li>Deputise for the Transfusion Laboratory Manager in their absence, requiring good knowledge of both routine and specialist Blood Transfusion.</li></ul><h3>About ESNEFT</h3><p>We are ESNEFT, providing hospital and community health services to nearly one million people across East Suffolk and North Essex.
