Role Description

To deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-focused staircasing and resales service for shared ownership properties, ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

* Manage all staircasing and resale transactions in line with lease provisions, Heylo's policies, and contractual obligations.
* Guide homeowners professionally through each stage of the process, ensuring clarity and compliance.
* Ensure all transactions are progressed and concluded within required timescales, balancing efficiency with exceptional customer service.
* Ensure property valuations reflect fair market value and that fees are collected in accordance with policy, maintaining equity for both buyers and sellers.
* Instruct and liaise with relevant professionals (e.g., surveyors, solicitors) and address any inconsistencies to protect the interests of all parties.
* Process all documentation accurately and promptly, ensuring adherence to relevant rules, regulations, and deadlines.
* Work closely with property management and finance teams to ensure compliance with covenants, eligibility, and funding conditions. Address any concerns of misrepresentation appropriately.
* Maintain and update tracking tools to provide regular reports on sales progress (weekly, monthly, or as required).
* Respond to enquiries and complaints effectively, promoting high standards of customer service and using feedback to improve processes.
* Ensure accurate and accessible records are maintained using appropriate systems and databases.
* Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to safeguard the organisation's interests.

Qualifications

* Passes in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent or ability to operate at that level (E)
* Experience in property management, real estate, or housing sector
* Strong organizational and administrative skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to deal with conflicting priorities
* Knowledge of shared ownership and staircasing processes is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Relevant qualifications in real estate, property management, or a related field are a plus

Salary and benefits

Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000, based on experience

Hours of work:
Full-time 39 hours per week with the ability to work up to 60 days a year home working. In this role, we expect there to be a degree of travel and flexibility, with some evening and weekend working as necessary.

Holiday:
25 days a year plus English Bank Holidays
