OPERATIONAL TEAM LEADER
Salary: Band 7
Locations: HART
We are looking for an experienced and engaged Paramedic to join our operational leadership team in HART. The successful applicant will be a keen problem‑solver, a caring individual and dedicated to providing compassionate leadership to our frontline teams.
To apply you must have successfully completed at least two years as a practising Experienced Paramedic at Band 6 by the advert closing date and be HART trained.
You must have the passion and drive to support your team to deliver the highest levels of patient care and clinical safety.
Responsibilities
* Develop and lead an effective operational team as a highly motivated, operationally focused HCPC registered clinician.
* Provide core leadership, clinical and management support for the team, maintaining welfare, supporting personal development and reviewing performance.
* Perform Operational Command (formerly Bronze Command) duties, including large‑scale and major incidents.
* Act as a direct line manager for a team of operational staff, providing support, welfare and development.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of two years as a practising Experienced Paramedic at Band 6.
* HART trained.
* HCPC registration.
Additional Requirements
This role will require excellent communication skills, flexibility and a high degree of personal organisation to determine priorities and the ability to handle a range of issues. You need to be an excellent problem‑solver, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to the changing priorities the Trust faces on a day‑to‑day basis.
Vaccination Requirement
For patient‑facing positions, staff are recommended to be vaccinated against SARS‑CoV‑2 unless medically exempt. Vaccine status will be checked upon successful application.
