Mortgage/Protection Administrator Salary: £28,500 Fully Remote Overview: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join our client. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for clients, from application to completion, while keeping them fully informed throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain professional, courteous relationships with clients. * Request and follow up on all documentation required to support mortgage and protection applications. * Work closely with the wider admin team to manage cases from submission through to offer and completion. * Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, insurers, surveyors, and GP surgeries to handle queries across mortgage, life, and general insurance applications. * Ensure all required documents are accurately submitted to lenders, insurers, and solicitors. * Support with preparing and maintaining templated suitability letters. * Manage CRM tasks daily, ensuring all records are up to date and completed within set timeframes. * Conduct file checks and maintain full compliance with FCA and company policies. * Collaborate with brokers and fellow administrators to ensure an efficient workflow. * Proactively manage your own caseload, prioritising effectively and meeting deadlines. Skills & Experience Required: * Highly organised, methodical, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. * A strong client focus with a genuine passion for delivering excellent service. * Comfortable working remotely with excellent self-motivation. * Confident using a variety of IT systems and software. * Prior experience in a similar mortgage and/or protection admin role is essential. * Good working knowledge of lender criteria, documentation, and underwriting requirements. Desirable: * Experience in keying mortgage/protection applications once files have passed compliance checks. * Interest in or ambition to support junior paraplanning duties alongside core admin responsibilities
