Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced person who is used to working to the highest level of accuracy and quality. This busy role will provide the right individual with lots of variety on a day-to-day basis.
Reporting to the QC and Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver's key duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
* Loading and unloading deliveries to and from our warehouse.
* Preparing furniture and products for QC inspection plus carry out QC inspection.
* Wrapping and packaging furniture and products for delivery or collection.
* Transporting deliveries to site including carrying, installing and assembling luxury high-end bespoke furniture including sofas, headboards, beds, case goods and similar.
* Carry out access checks and templating, and complete report on the site findings for the office.
* To be responsible for the company vehicle, tools and other equipment provided.
* To ensure the company vehicle is organised and tidy after each delivery.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
* Be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
* Have a good level of verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge and experience of assembling fitted furniture.
We are a customer facing company so the ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
* Be comfortable installing furniture at client sites, including customer homes in varying locations.
* Enjoy variety in the day and the occasional challenge.
* Can handle and adapt to changing situations or task specifications.
* Be polite and professional when dealing with clients.
* Be competent and diligent when working on site installations.
* Be able to complete paperwork.
* Have good time management to be able to plan and complete installations in required time slots.
* Be clean, tidy and well organised.
* You are a team player: you work seamlessly as part of a team or on occasion to work on your own if required.
* To have good knowledge of London and the home counties areas.
* Other handyman skills will be beneficial.
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Furniture Delivery Driver.

Requirements:
* Hold a full Valid UK Drivers licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Experience in driving a variety of vehicles including medium wheelbase (MWB), long wheelbase (LWB) transit & sprinter, Luton vans.
This is a full-time permanent position.
The working week is 40.45 hours with the working days 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday & 7am to 12pm on Friday, although occasional overtime will be required.
28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays.
