Location: London (on-site)
Reporting to: Founders
Salary: Competitive
Malaberg is a fast-growing scale-up transforming lives with premium health, nutrition, and skincare brands, built entirely in-house as we scale across the UK and US markets.
We are hiring a Senior Video Producer who has spent the last two or more years building actively with AI video tools. Not experimenting with them. Producing with them. You have a body of work. You know what these tools can and cannot do, and you know how to close the gap between AI output and polished, finished creative.
This is a management role. You will lead a small team: a Video Production Coordinator who owns on-set and traditional post-production, and a roster of editors. You set the standard, you run the output, and you own the AI production pipeline end-to-end. Your background in editing gives you the technical authority to manage with precision, not distance. You will work directly with the founders and grow into greater ownership as the department scales around you.
What You Will Do
* Lead and manage the video production team, including a Video Production Coordinator and editors, setting clear expectations, reviewing output, and maintaining the quality bar.
* Own the AI video production pipeline from brief to finished asset: generation, post-production, quality control, and delivery.
* Produce and oversee high-volume ad variations using frontier AI video tools including HeyGen, Kling, VO3, ElevenLabs, RunwayML, and whatever comes next.
* Bridge AI-generated output and traditional post-production. Generate in AI tools, cut and polish in Premiere or After Effects. Know where the seam is and make it invisible.
* Build and maintain the production systems the team runs on: asset tracking, version control, status visibility, and quality checkpoints in Notion.
* Coordinate across editors, the production coordinator, and copy and creative teams to keep timelines on track and output consistent.
* Evaluate new AI tools as they emerge and integrate the ones that compound the department output.
* Identify and remove bottlenecks in the production process. You are accountable for pace, not just quality.
* Contribute to the creative direction of ad formats, testing new approaches and feeding performance data back into the production workflow.
What We Are Looking For
* Two or more years of active, hands-on AI video production. Not awareness or experimentation. Finished work you can point to.
* A portfolio of AI-generated video work submitted with your application. This is a hard requirement. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
* Proven experience managing a production team or workflow. You have set the standard for others, not just met it yourself.
* An editing background. You have cut professionally. You can open Premiere or After Effects and diagnose and fix a post-production problem without delegating it.
* Experience managing or coordinating production workflows across editors and creative teams: briefs, timelines, review rounds, and delivery.
* Familiarity with fast-turnaround content environments such as DTC, social, eCommerce, gaming, or lead gen. You are comfortable producing at pace.
* Systems-oriented. You build processes, not workarounds. You leave workflows in better shape than you found them.
* Low ego, high ownership. You are a practitioner who leads by doing. You clear roadblocks rather than escalate them.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Experience with generative video beyond talking-head formats: scene generation, AI b-roll, multi-tool pipeline workflows.
* Familiarity with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or n8n applied to production workflows.
* An understanding of what makes short-form ad creative perform: hooks, pacing, retention, and the relationship between creative and conversion data.
* Experience scaling a content production team or process from early-stage to high volume.
How To Apply
Apply with your CV and a portfolio of AI-generated video work. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. If we think there is alignment, you will be invited to a 30-minute online screening interview. If successful, you will be invited to complete a role-specific task. Finalists will be invited to an in-person interview at our London office with the founders.
