As a Prime Brokerage Client Service Representative in the EMEA Prime Client Operations Team, you will own operational client experience for our cash equity and repo financing prime clients. You will define and enhance the operational client experience in four key areas: partnering with clients to design efficient operational models from trade capture through settlement; providing best-in-class operational risk management; leveraging data to present trends and influence the behavior of clients, internal teams, and third parties; and designing innovative solutions through digital automation platforms.
Responsibilities
* Manage operational risk management.
* Ensure trades are captured and settled in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
* Manage failing settlements to minimize risk and penalty charges.
* Partner with clients and internal teams to ensure that cash and positions are reconciled accurately.
* Build trusting, credible client relationships through responsive, high-quality client service, which includes responding to daily queries, chairing action-driven meetings, and handling difficult conversations when necessary.
* Monitor themes using data analytics platforms and use a data-driven approach to influencing client and broker behavior.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* The ability to act and communicate with humility, empathy and kindness.
* Proven track record of being a subject matter expert in a previous role (any product or workflow).
* Proven ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple, digestible way to varied audiences.
* A disciplined attitude to operational risk management. Takes pride in doing the ‘simple’ things consistently well.
* The ability to work with large data sets to pull trends and provide meaningful feedback to influence client behavior.
* The ability to bring multiple groups together to solve a problem and hold people accountable for their actions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Familiarity with the settlement and mechanics of cash equities, bonds and repos.
* Ability to independently automate manual processes using digital automation tools.
* A naturally curious thinker with a hunger to learn and teach others.
* An optimistic approach to problem solving. Views problems as opportunities and not roadblocks.
