The Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Kitchen Designer to join our showroom team. This role blends design expertise with sales capability, requiring someone who can listen carefully to clients, understand their lifestyle needs, and translate these into beautiful, functional kitchen designs. You'll be responsible for guiding customers from their first visit through to completed design, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail throughout.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers to the showroom, conduct design consultations, and build strong relationships.
* Prepare detailed kitchen designs using CAD software (Compusoft), balancing creativity with practicality.
* Present designs and proposals confidently, addressing customer requirements and budget considerations.
* Manage the full sales process from initial brief through to order confirmation.
* Collaborate with the wider RDO team, including appliances and installations, to ensure a seamless customer journey.
* Keep up to date with product ranges, design trends, and industry developments.
* Work to agreed sales targets while upholding RDO's customer-first values.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in kitchen design and sales.
* Strong knowledge of CAD design software (e.g., Winner, Fusion, or similar).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
* Creative flair with an eye for detail, colour, and layout.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Commercial awareness and confidence in closing sales.
