About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Assistant Venue Manager to join our team on a full‑time basis.
This is a key operational role requiring a strong presence on the floor, working closely with ownership and management to oversee daily operations, support staff, and maintain high service standards across the venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the day‑to‑day management of venue operations
* Lead from the front with a strong, hands‑on approach
* Supervise, support, and motivate staff across food and beverage service
* Deliver exceptional customer service and manage customer enquiries
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service
* Assist with staff rostering and shift coordination
* Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, and venue procedures
* Contribute to a positive team culture and efficient workplace
About You
* Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in Assistant Manager / Venue Supervisor role
* Strong background in food and beverage operations
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to engage confidently with both staff and customers
* Hands‑on leadership style with a strong work ethic
* Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
* Current RSA Certificate
* Approved Manager qualification (or ability to obtain)
* Proven experience in a similar position
