The successful candidate will oversee and carry out mechanical installation tasks on assigned projects, coordinating the work of team members while managing material procurement and liaising with subcontractors involved in the mechanical package.
Main Duties

Install and commission plumbing systems within commercial and industrial environments
*
Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
*
Carry out work involving pipework, drainage, fixtures, and water distribution systems
*
Ensure all activities meet current building codes, health and safety standards, and company procedures
*
Coordinate effectively with site management, contractors, and other trades on site
*
Handle material orders, deliveries, and stock control for assigned projects
*
Maintain clear communication with project managers and engineers throughout each phase
Essential Skills and Experience
*
Demonstrated background as a commercial plumber or plumbing foreman
*
Hands-on experience leading projects while remaining actively involved in site work
*
Recognised plumbing trade qualification with a valid license or certification
*
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
*
Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
*
Comprehensive understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and safe working practices
*
Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills
*
CSCS card required; SSSTS certification preferred but not essential
