This role focuses on ensuring the quality of our software platforms through structured testing, investigation of issues, and validation of new features prior to release.The role sits between Support and Development, helping to reproduce issues, verify fixes and perform regression testing across our product suite. The QA team plays a key role in ensuring that releases meet a high standard of quality before reaching customers.You will work closely with developers, support engineers and product teams to investigate issues, improve testing processes and contribute to the overall stability and performance of EventMAP solutions, including our AI-powered optimisation and scheduling platforms.As a QA Analyst, you will:Investigate and reproduce reported issues from support teams and clientsPerform manual testing of new features and product releasesExecute structured regression testing prior to product deploymentsValidate bug fixes and ensure issues are fully resolvedWork closely with developers to clearly document defects and expected behaviourAssist in improving overall test coverage and QA processesContribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing where appropriateSupport the continuous improvement of software quality across EventMAP productsHelp ensure releases meet internal quality standards before delivery to customersSkills & requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience testing web-based applications or software systemsAbility to investigate, reproduce and clearly document software issuesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with development and support teamsAttention to detail and a structured approach to testingExperience working in a software QA or testing roleExperience with issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps etc.)Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman or similar)Exposure to automated testing frameworksUnderstanding of modern web technologies and application architecturesExperience working in an Agile development environmentWhat’s in the EventMAP package?An excellent package of salary and benefits depending on experienceA focused (but relaxed) working environment that will keep you at the top of your gameOpportunities for career progression within a rapidly growing technology companyExposure to innovative optimisation and scheduling technologies28 days holiday + 5 statutory daysAs this role forms part of a newly expanding QA capability within EventMAP, there will be opportunities for the right candidate to grow with the team.
