🚨 Town Planner – Lincoln🚨
I’m currently working with a highly respected UK property consultancy to appoint a Town Planner into their growing Lincoln office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary firm with a strong reputation across the rural, commercial, and development sectors. The business is known for its collaborative culture, long-term client relationships, and commitment to professional development.
🏙️ The Role
You will be part of a dynamic Planning team, working across a varied portfolio of projects from early-stage appraisals through to delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing planning appraisals for land, buildings, and development concepts
* Producing and managing planning applications, pre-app enquiries, and appeals
* Drafting high-quality planning statements and supporting documentation
* Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients
* Attending and presenting at planning committees and public meetings
* Managing projects from inception through to completion
* Developing commercially competitive fee proposals
* Keeping up to date with planning policy and market trends
🎯 About You
* MRTPI-accredited degree (or equivalent)
* Working towards Chartership (MRTPI) – desirable but not essential
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in planning (public or private sector)
* Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
* Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage client relationships
* Full UK driving licence
