Apply Now About the role Balfour Beatty has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Planner to join the team working on the Anglian Water onealliance What you'll be doing Lead collaborative Digital planning and production meetings such that all team including suppliers have clarity of their requirements and one expectations at each stage of the project Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with one and AW requirements. Liaise with Delivery Teams to ensure consistency of key assumptions on methodology and outputs etc. Ensure project plans capture the full project scope. Ensure the plan clearly identifies any delay to support claims for additional cost or time. Ensure plans are resource loaded and the resource plan is maintained. Pro-actively ensure project plans are up to date. Pro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes. Collaboratively explore mitigation and what_if scenarios to pro-actively improve project delivery. Develop 4D animations of the project plan to aid digital rehearsal of the project construction. Gather and collate progress information and reasons for any deviations. Communicate effects of progress on key dates and challenge team to deliver on time. Ensure activities are correctly linked and provide awareness to the team of total float and its erosion to identify priorities to prevent activities becoming critical. Take responsibility for the planning of projects that are of high risk and/or complexity. Collaboratively Review, Challenge/ Acceptance of Supplier/Tier 2 Plans in a timely manner Attend site regularly to gather programme update information Communicate the critical path and key activities in team meetings. Proactively advise the team on priorities to avoid activities slipping and becoming critical. Challenge delays and explore mitigations. Attend meetings as required. Who we're looking for Site based or engineering background would be preferable. Experience in one or more of civils, water, wastewater or M&E. Knowledge of current HSE requirements. Computer literate.
