Acer Recruitment are working alongside an Nursery in the borough of Bromley, who is seeking a Forest School Manager - someone who has passion for the outside.
This is a full time, all year round permanent position 40 hours per week however hours can be negotiable between 30 - 40hrs for the right candidate. Salary depending on capability and experience.
As Forest School Manager, you will:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of our forest school provision
• Manage, support, and develop a team of dedicated forest school and early years educators, in conjunction with our Forest School Leader
• Ensure the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and outdoor education
• Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community
• Help shape and expand our forest school’s future growth and vision alongside our Forest School Leader
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• An experienced manager with a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above
• Able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills
• Capable of managing administrative duties and day-to-day tasks promptly, ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively balanced
• A steady and composed manager who remains calm under pressure, guiding the team with clear and confident decisions
• A confident communicator and active listener, able to work collaboratively with the team to bring out the best in others
• A leader who leads by example, but knows when to delegate effectively and make tough decisions when required
• Ideally a qualified Forest School Leader (Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experienced in developing and delivering outdoor early years education
• Creative, organised, and deeply passionate about nature-based learning
• Committed to fostering curiosity, resilience, and environmental awareness in every child
