Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are supporting our long‑standing client in the renewables sector as they continue to strengthen their finance function. We’re looking to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to the team on a full time, permanent basis. The role will be based from our clients offices in Dyce with flexibility around hours on offer. This is a fantastic junior role for someone looking to develop their finance career in a fast‑paced, high‑growth industry. The Opportunity The Accounts Payable Assistant will join a supportive AP team within a company that’s making a real impact across the renewables space. The role focuses on maintaining the purchase ledger, supporting day‑to‑day processing and keeping things running smoothly. It’s a great role for someone with some exposure to AP or finance admin who have the right attitude, attention to detail and eagerness to learn. Responsibilities will include: Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders or obtaining approvals Coding and processing invoices accurately and efficiently Reconciling timesheets against planners and external supplier invoices Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations Handling supplier queries and monitoring aged payables Processing employee expenses and company credit cards Supporting ad‑hoc projects within the Renewables division Background and Experience The successful candidate will have some exposure to accounts payable, finance administration or a similar.
