The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across rooms, meetings & events, and F&B. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and positioning the hotel as a preferred choice for corporate, leisure, and group bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase occupancy and revenue.
Proactively source new corporate and leisure accounts through networking, prospecting, and relationship building.
Nurture existing accounts to maximise repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
Collaborate with the General Manager and wider hotel team to achieve sales targets.
Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and market analysis to inform business decisions.
Uphold brand standards while driving innovation in sales strategies.
About You
Proven track record in sales or business development within hospitality venues or hotels.
Strong knowledge of the Greater Manchester market and corporate travel landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-driven with the ability to work independently.
