Class 1 Driver
to join our well-established client based in
Coventry, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. Benefits: As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Onsite canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Rates of Pay: PM Basic: £17.00 per hour Overtime after nine hours: £21.25 per hour Overtime on sixth shift: £34.00 per hour Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to: RDC or Brewery Deliveries with no handball (working on curtain-side) Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Essential Skills: As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous brewery delivery experience would be beneficial Training: Driver's Assessment must be passed followed by a one-day paid induction Contact: This client values its workers and provides an excellent working environment.
