We have a current opportunity for an Offshore Export Cable Supply Project Engineer on a contract basis in Wind with a major operator outside of IR35.
Hybrid: The position will be based in central London (2/3 office days per week).

2 years + duration.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise on export cable design, qualification, manufacture, quality management, testing, and commissioning activities, both onshore and offshore. Support cable design and coordinate loadout planning with T&I colleagues.
2. Lead cable design and cable rating verification calculations.
3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and procedures related to cable design, manufacture, testing, and commissioning.
4. Review study results, design, and construction documents at various development stages to ensure compliance with Employer requirements and project expectations.
5. Review technical aspects of consenting documents.
6. Proactively manage and coordinate technical interfaces, supporting clarification and interface meetings with Contractors and other work packages, especially with onshore landfall and offshore substation packages.
