We're currently recruiting an experienced Street Works Manager to join a dynamic Highways Contractor team on a freelance basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in delivering compliant and efficient street works operations using the latest systems and best practices. Key Responsibilities: ·Oversee and manage all Street Works activities for the business ·Lead and support a small team, including 2 Permitting Officers ·Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC guidelines, and permit schemes ·Liaise with local authorities and internal teams to coordinate works ·Use Street Manager system for permits and noticing ·Manage inspections, permitting workflows, and performance reporting ·Drive continuous improvement in operational delivery and compliance ️ Required Experience: ·Proven experience in a Street Works Manager or Lead role ·Strong working knowledge of NRSWA and Street Manager system ·Experience managing permits and working with local councils ·Effective communicator with leadership skills and a detail-focused approach ·Able to work independently in a freelance capacity Working Hours: ·7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday ·1 day per week working from home FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this job technically, but the rate, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
