£35,270.79 pa depending on experience
(18-month Fixed term contract with the possibility of applying for a permanent position at the end of this contract).
You must be educated to degree level and have one to two years’ work experience within a communications or public relations environment. You must have a passion for communications to help us engage effectively with residents, businesses, staff and other stakeholders. The following skills and experience are also essential for this role:
1. Good standard of written English and a meticulous eye for detail
2. Experience with proofing written content and graphic design work in accordance to corporate style guidelines
3. Experience of using website content management systems (CMS)
4. IT literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
5. Confident in delivering ideas to the rest of the team
6. Ability to confidently engage with senior Officers
7. A full drivers’ licence is essential.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
